PlantScan AI lets you photograph plants to get an AI-generated identification, general care guidance, and — for Premium subscribers — a basic health/disease assessment. Identifications are produced by an automated model and are estimates, not guarantees.
Never eat, touch, or treat a plant based only on this app. Species identification, edibility notes, and health assessments are AI-generated guesses and can be wrong — including about toxic look-alikes. Always confirm with a qualified professional (a botanist, doctor, or poison control) before consuming, handling, or medically relying on any plant identification from this app.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Don't use PlantScan AI to upload content you don't have the right to share, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or to violate any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
You keep ownership of the photos you scan. By uploading a photo, you give us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service to you — identifying the plant, saving it to your collection, and showing it back to you.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that identifications, care guidance, or health assessments will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlantScan AI and its developer aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including harm resulting from reliance on an identification, care tip, or health assessment. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it.
You can stop using the app and delete your account anytime by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country of residence.
