Delete Account & Data
InBloom · Last updated: August 18, 2026
This page explains how to delete your InBloom account and everything associated with it.
The account is anonymous. InBloom does not ask for a name, email, or phone number: the account exists only as an identifier created on your device. Because of that, deletion is requested by contacting us — there is no form on this page that can look up your account, since there is no email or password to search by.
1. How to request deletion
Email sphereoftopics@gmail.com from the app or with any detail that helps us find your anonymous account (e.g. the approximate date you started using the App, or your referral code if you have one). We process deletion requests within 30 days.
Most of your content — partner names, safe word, quiz answers, confessions, and bucket-list entries — lives only on your device. You can erase all of it immediately yourself by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in your device settings.
2. What is deleted
- Your anonymous account in our authentication system.
- Your unlock/subscription status record in our database.
- Any referral code linked to your account and its redemption record.
3. What may continue to exist for a while
- Backups: routine database backups may retain data for up to 30 days before being permanently discarded.
- Payment records: your purchase history stays with the store (Google Play or App Store) and the payments processor, for tax and support reasons. We never have access to your card details.
4. Subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in the store where you subscribed — Google Play or App Store — before requesting deletion, or billing will continue.
