Delete your account

In the app, right away: open the Profiletab, scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account". The app asks for a confirmation and the deletion happens immediately — no waiting and no talking to anyone.

If you have already uninstalled the app: send an email to contato@tessaroapps.com with the subject "Delete my GarageRank account", from the registered email address. That is how we confirm the account is yours — without it, we have no way to tell you apart from someone asking us to delete another person's account.

You do not have to give a reason, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Deletion is permanent and erases:

• the account and the login email;
• the public profile, the username and the photo;
• the catalogued collection, the garage, the wishlist and uploaded photos;
• likes, followers, club membership and sent messages;
• score, badges, streaks and leaderboard position;
• the history of AI identifications;
• the device notification identifier.

There is no undo. None of it is recoverable afterwards, and creating a new account with the same email brings nothing back. If you want to keep your collection, export the CSV from the app before requesting deletion.

• Messages you already sent to another person remain in their conversation, as happens in any messaging exchange. They stop showing your profile.
• Reports filed against your account are kept for as long as community safety requires, without your content.
• Subscription tax records are kept for the period required by law.
• Rotating backups may retain data for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription. The store bills you, not the app — so cancellation has to be done there, and before requesting deletion:

• Google Play: Play Store app → profile photo → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → GarageRank → Cancel.
• App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GarageRank → Cancel subscription.

If you delete the account with the subscription active, billing continues until you cancel at the store.

In the app, deletion is immediate. By email, we confirm the request and complete it within 30 days, with a notice when it is done.
